We warmly invite you to join us for a day of deep stillness and inner peace. In the supportive embrace of like-minded companions, let go of daily distractions and reconnect with your own inner sanctuary.

Preparation and Connection

Before your retreat, we’ll host a Zoom orientation. This is your chance to:

  • Meet your fellow participants
  • Share your intentions for this special time
  • Receive guidance for deepening your experience of this Day of Silence
  • Experience a brief guided meditation

Perfect for Beginners and Experienced Alike

Whether you long to disconnect from technology or are new to the practice of silence, this retreat welcomes you. We offer a gentle and accessible introduction to the profound benefits of silence.

Sample Program (Subject to adjustment)

  • 10:00 – 10:20: Welcome and Introductions
  • 10:20 – 11:00: Energisation Exercises and Moving Meditations
  • 11:00 – 11:45: Guided Meditation Practice
  • 11:45 – 2:30: Lunch, Self-guided Activities (eg nature awareness, walking meditations, reading, journaling)
  • 2:30 – 2:50: Intention-setting Ritual
  • 2:50 – 3:30: Closing Circle: Bringing the stillness home

To fully experience the power of this retreat, we ask that you disconnect completely from electronic devices. Observe silence throughout the day to truly savour the peace.

Silence is Sacred. Should you be unable to fully disconnect from your devices for this retreat, please consider registering at a later time when you have the flexibility to do so.

Silence Heals. The constant stream of sensory information overloads our nervous system. Silence, especially when combined with time in nature, provides relief, allowing our nervous system to calm down. This promotes mental clarity and allows our bodies to engage in natural healing processes.

Please bring your own lunch and snacks. In the embrace of silence, your senses will awaken, and you’ll find profound joy in even the simplest of meals.
