Do you want to meditate? Perhaps you’ve tried meditating using online apps and not sure if you’re making progress.

We share meditation techniques that have been tried and tested over a very long period of time. They are based on the teachings of the great Yoga Master Paramhansa Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi.

In this one day intensive workshop, you’ll learn a simple yet powerful technique that you can begin to practise on your own. No need to rely on apps. You’ll become an independent meditator. Meditating in this way lets you have a much deeper experience than what’s possible through many online guided meditations.

What to expect in our meditation workshop

All our classes include practices for body, mind and spirit.

We help you find the best sitting position so that you can be comfortable. We have many sitting options available including chairs, meditation benches and cushions for floor sitting.

You’ll learn breathing techniques that help you prepare your mind for meditation.

You’ll learn techniques to help you focus and stop the mind from wandering.

You will learn to cultivate the heart so you can experience more uplifting and positive feelings.

Our classes are small and our teachers are highly experienced long term meditators. There is time for individual questions and in-depth explorations.

Meet the Teacher

Kavita is a serious meditator of nearly 30 years. She practices Kriya Yoga, an ancient meditation technique brought into the world by the Himalayan Yogis.

Kavita is highly passionate about meditation and Kriya Yoga. Using personal experience and apt analogies, she effortlessly explains complex issues including the nature of human mind, the longings of the heart , and human nature.

As a disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda, Kavita has dedicated her life to sharing his teachings.

Paramhansa Yogananda is the author of the spiritual classic Autobiography of a Yogi.
